Journey to Progress
In middle school, students are developing greater responsibility in their academic pursuits. Teachers provide guidance as they transition from elementary to middle school. The middle school curriculum includes opportunities for students to further develop their skills in the subjects of ELA, Science, History, Technology, and Mathematics, all which will help prepare them for advanced science and math classes in high school.
Curriculum
Wayne Christian Academy's Middle School department uses Bob Jones Curriculum for all ELA, Math, Science, & History and Summit Ministries for Bible. Summit Ministries curriculum provides students with a biblical foundation and teaches them to apply biblical principles in everyday life. Students love attending chapel on Fridays, where students worship with their class and listen to a guest speaker. Additionally, students participate in daily physical education and have weekly classes in art, computer, and library.
Extracurricular activities include Drama, Music, Chapel Band, Sports,
and Yearbook Club.
